THÉRAPIE CHEVALINE
La therapie chevaline est l ’apprentissage des compétences fonctionnelles d ’équitation à des fins thérapeutiques. C ’est une méthode utile pour améliorer le bien-être physique et mental de personnes atteintes d ’un large éventail de déficiences.
Les buts de l’AETNL sont de donner à ces personnes une vie plus agréable en offrant des objectifs réalisables, en développant la confiance en soi et l ’estime de soi des enfants, des adolescents et des adultes en difficulté.
Un cheval ne porte pas de jugement sur une personne en raison de son poids, de la couleur de sa peau, de sa ou ses incapacités, etc. Un cheval ne rejette personne.
EQUINE THERAPY
Definition, goals of the rider, aims of program Therapeutic Riding is the learning of functional riding skills for therapeutic purposes. It is a useful method of improving the physical and mental well being of persons suffering from a wide range of disabilities.
The main objectives are to make life more enjoyable by helping maintain reachable goals, and build self-confidence and self esteem in adults, adolescents and children.
A horse does not judge a person by his weight, colour, drug addiction, etc. A horse will not reject a person.

Notre but ultime est de donner à nos bénévoles un entraînement approfondi leur permettant d’offrir des services de qualité. Ceux-ci deviennent ainsi les piliers de notre association. Nous formons des jeunes qui apprennent à mieux se connaître et à mieux connaître et comprendre les personnes avec des incapacités.
EQUINE ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY
EAP sessions are delivered by a fully accredited equine specialist in partnership with an accredited mental health specialist in which both have been trained specifically in EAP.

The main goal is to provide extensive training of volunteers to ensure the quality and sustainability of the NLTRA program. In doing so, it provides the NLTRA to give back to our community by providing our youth with a hands on chance to learn about themselves, and about persons with disabilities as individuals.
